When the person in charge of China Printing first approached us, they asked about epoxy colored sand self-leveling flooring right away. Why did the client choose epoxy colored sand self-leveling flooring? Based on our analysis and understanding of the application scenario, this workshop is used for high-end digital printing. The equipment and machinery are currently among the most advanced in the country, so the overall positioning is quite high-end. The client repeatedly asked if there was an even better flooring option. Their requirements were: aesthetically pleasing, easy to maintain, and durable. Price was not a major concern. After our on-site inspection, we found that the existing substrate was terrazzo, but it had been in use for many years. Some areas had potholes, and there was some oil contamination in certain spots. However, the overall strength was not bad. The client's facility is self-built, with a small workforce. They use AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles), which require high floor flatness. The typical load is about 1 ton, and there is occasional ink spillage around the machinery, so the flooring needs a certain level of chemical resistance. Based on the client's requirements and the condition of the existing substrate, we eventually confirmed the solution through sample testing. The client chose a classic and elegant high-end epoxy colored sand self-leveling floor in the "Black Meteor" style.

As the saying goes, behind every beautiful outcome there are some stories. Our master craftsmen encountered a few challenges during construction. The weather was extremely hot, and sweat droplets falling onto the floor had to be wiped away promptly. There were also multiple water leakage issues on site. For epoxy colored sand self-leveling flooring, the key lies in the details – any flaw is unacceptable. This truly put our craftsmen to the test. The high temperature also caused the material to cure faster, which meant that if we weren't careful, we could end up with lap marks or flowability issues.
